Goodbye to any Bangkok shopping trips or days of lounging and tanning on the beaches of Bali. No more are the snowboarding routes amidst Japan’s snowy mountains or snorkelling sessions in Australia’s summer heat. Before you sigh and lament again about being stuck in Singapore, recognise that there are soo many other ways to recreate that feeling of wanderlust here in your own homes! If you’re not heavy on films, Netflix has a wide array of travel documentaries and shows to feed your travel hunger! My personal favourite is Somebody Feed Phil, a television travel documentary that explores cuisines and places all over the world like Venice, Vietnam and even Singapore! It definitely makes for a great escape.
