Night In Paradise
This South Korean drama film is directed by acclaimed director Park Hoon-Jung, who has also directed critically acclaimed South Korean thriller The Witch: Part 1. The Subversion (starring Kim Da-Mi) and South Korean crime drama film New World. Premiered at the 77th Venice International Film Festival in 2020, the film is touted by the festival director, Alberto Barbera, as “one of the best gangster movies coming from South Korean cinema in recent years”. The plot follows the journey of a wronged mobster who hides in Jeju Island following a brutal tragedy.

Thunder Force
The hilarious comedy stars two superhero actress, Octavia Spencer and Melissa McCarthy. In “Thunder Force”, two childhood best friends reunite as unlikely superheroes when one of them invented a super serum that imbues them with powers.

Love and Monsters
The 2020 American monster adventure film stars Dylan O’Brien, Jessica Henwick, Dan Ewing, Ariana Greenblatt, and Michael Rooker. Following the destruction of an asteroid near Earth, a chemical fallout spawns cold-blooded monsters out of animals on the planet, prompting much of humanity to go into hiding underground. The cheerful family-friendly film sees the protagonist Joel Dawson (played by O’Brien) leaving his underground bunker and risking his life to find his girlfriend Aimee (played by Henwick).
Love and Monsters will be available from 14 April 2021.
Law School
At a prestigious law school, a law professor and his students get embroidered in an unusual case. This South Korean drama stars actor Kim Myung-Min as Yang Jong-Hoon who is a former prosecutor, actress Ryoo Hye-Young and actor Kim Beom as his first-year law students.
Law School will be available on Netflix from 14 April 2021.
Shadow and Bone
One of the most anticipated releases of the year, “Shadow and Bone” is based on the best-selling fantasy novel series by author Leigh Bardough. Set in a war-torn world, it follows orphan mapmaker Alina Starkov (played by Jessie Mei Li) who discovers she can conjure light. Sent to train as a magical soldier, known as the Grisha, she struggles to hone her power, which might be key to destroying the Shadow Fold, a seemingly impenetrable field of darkness.
Shadow and Bone will be available on Netflix from 23 April 2021.
