We Are Turning One!

Seasons’ Greetings!

We are now less than 50 days away from Christmas, and with our birthday fast approaching, we are in the mood for celebration! As the year draws to a close, our hoolahgans (the team behind hoolah) have been thinking about the challenges we have overcome and the accomplishments we have achieved.

It has been a crazy year. A hugely wonderful one and something we are very proud of. Our hoolahgans have worked tirelessly together and our hoolah family has grown. Looking back, we hit our first milestone of bringing in our 100th merchant in May and, as we share this, our family is now over 200 merchants strong!

Along the way, we were thrilled to be part of a narrative of improving the lives of our fellow Singaporeans. Offering something where everyone can “hoolah it”— shop now and pay later with no hidden fees, interest or charges — and this essentially means that, whether you are a planner or a dreamer, you can afford responsibly without any worries.

We have also fostered a tightly-knit community of merchants through several of our insightful sharing sessions — Driving Sales Conversions, Optimising Ads, Building a Stronger Brand Identity. The best thing about these sessions is meeting both fresh and familiar faces.

The hoolahgans aren’t standing still either. There are so many developments ahead that we have been busy with for both our merchants and consumers that will bring even more value to all. Watch this space for all of the news.

Back to the celebration at hand for our 1st birthday! In so many ways, birthdays are unique opportunities for honourees. Whatever we have enjoyed or relished for the other 364 days, we get to enjoy several times more for one day. So, in honour of, well, us (and you!), we are spreading the joy with some gifts.
