Founder Trixie Chua revealed to TimeOut Singapore that the label was founded on the basis of her wanting to create apparels that are simple and versatile.

Fuelled by her immense love for painting, local creative Ying can be seen using fabric as a canvas for her to express her sentiments as unique prints on everyday wear. SABRINAGOH

Ah yes, the contemporary works from Singaporean fashion designer Sabrina Goh speak volumes of silhouettes and impressionability. The label, which was founded in 2009 after Sabrina graduated from LASALLE SIA College of Arts, prides itself to be a forward thinking brand that puts creative design at the forefront. The cornflower blue Yukee dress melds functionality and flair, with button-down details at the top and floaty handkerchief hem at the end. The brand’s Capri Jumpsuit is an eye-catching piece that is versatile and comfortable, perfect to pair with sneakers or pointed heels.It’s no surprise that Sabrina is no stranger to design since she is the daughter of a draughtsman.

Pamper your skin with clean and green skincare solutions from Sigi Skin. Founder Xenia Wong wants her skincare range to be straightforward and easy to use. According to an interview with Tatler, she does so by infusing her skincare line with superfoods, such as honey, beeswax, collagen and even matcha. Having learnt her lesson of wearing sunscreen at 10 years old, when she suffered bad sunburnt for refusing to heed her parents advice of wearing sunblock at the water amusement park, she now regards the use of a good sunscreen as an important aspect of her routine.

Skin Inc

Singaporean beauty label Skin Inc is an acclaimed brand with a distinctive presence across 78 cities in Asia. Founded by Sabrina Tan in 2008 during the financial crisis, the skincare label is known to create fuss-free beauty regimes and targeted skin solutions. According to HerWorld, Sabrina cited starting her label was a calling of sorts. She said, “You just felt that that is the perfect moment, you know that there is this hunger in your stomach.” Fuelled by her desire to concoct hassle-free solutions for herself and other women, she gave up a well-paying job in the tech industry to pursue this calling.

Illa Nocte

If you don’t already know, crystal collection has been a thing lately. Some purchase them for their purported healing benefits, while others get them to spruce up their homes. Illa Nocte is one such local metaphysical store that proffers crystals to Singaporeans. Having founded her label when she was an undergraduate, Belicia Sun procures her crystals from ethical sources around the world. The young entrepreneur says: “Buying crystals is an experience. You are not just buying a physical product that spruces up your home, you are also taking home all the good vibes it carries.”
