Last week, we announced the launch of hoolah’s very own mobile application — the hoolah App. Extending the “Buy Now, Pay Later” philosophy offline while complementing your own shopping habits, the latest hoolah App is reshaping the way you shop in physical retail outlets. Now, you are better geared at shopping smarter and responsibility.
Now available on Google PlayStore and AppStore, the latest app not only allows you to purchase in-stores but at the same time also helps track your online purchases. With close to 40 participating brands (and counting!), you can now shop at your favourite retailers — including Braun Buffel, OSIM, BHG, 6ixty8ight, and Daniel Wellington — islandwide!
From 17 August 2020 to 17 September 2020, you can simply download the hoolah App and get up to $15 cashback on your first offline purchase. And just in case you have trouble navigating the hoolah App or have any questions, read on to find out what you need to know!
Seamless Signup If You Are An Existing User
If you are an existing hoolah user, you do not have to worry about any pesky sign-up process. All you need to do is to download the hoolah App and log in with your own personal details.
Your Personal Information Is Secure
For first time hoolah users, you will need to create your personal account with hoolah. The signup process is simple and almost fuss-free. However, you will be prompted to key in your personal email address, your personal mobile number, as well as a picture of your NRIC card. All these play an important role in verifying your profile and you can expect your personal information to be kept confidential.
You Can Track Both Online & Offline Payments
Whether it is a purchase made online or a purchase made in-store, you will be able see the type of transaction made, the merchant that you have purchased from, and the overall incurred bill. The bill is, of course, split into three installments across three months. You can track when your next payment is due as well as look back to see how much you have paid.
That said, should you make an offline payment with the hoolah App in store, you will not see the name of the product bought. Instead, you will only be able to view the bill incurred as well as brand (or store) you have bought your merchandise from.
You Can Make An Early Payment
The hoolah App is also equipped to be extremely versatile. You also have the option of footing a bill up front too. In other words, if you’d like to pay an instalment in advance and you have the means to do so, you can simply do it with a swipe of a button. That way, you are in better control of your finances.
